Blog Post: Media Consumption Blog for August 12th to 29th

Since school has started I have been watching a lot of media. I also have been listening to music. Some of the shows I have watched during this time span include On My Block, Love Island USA, and South Park. On My Block is a show about the transition into high school. It high lights the lives and adventures of four friends. Love Island USA is a reality T.V. show that shows the journey of individuals looking to find love. The show also highlights the drama and friendships that are built during their six months in the Villa. South Park is a very crazy show involving the hijinks of four elementary school boys: Stan Marsh, Erick Cartman, Kyle Broflavski, and Kenny McCormick. 

I also have been consuming media by listening to music. I am die hard Ariana Grande fan she was my number one artist on my Spotify wrapped. Spotify wrapped is something that comes out at the end of the year which tracks your most listened to artists, songs, and genres throughout the year. Some Ariana Grande songs I have listened to this week have been Eternal Sunshine, Twilight Zone, and We Can't be Friends. I also have listened to Laufey's new album that came out last weekend, my favorite song on the album was Carousel. I have not watched a lot of movies, but I did watch one: Water for Elephants. This movie is a love story that highlights the connection between man and woman, and the man's bond with an elephant that only understands Polish. I also have consumed media by listening to podcasts on Spotify, I have listened to True Crime with Kendall Rae who highlights intense stories that shocked the world.
