First Blog: What Kind of Media Do I Like?

My name is Jacqueline Cruz. People call me Jackie or Jack. Some of my favorite things to do are read, build Lego sets, and watch countless of documentaries.

My Favorite way to consume media content is by watching movies and shows as well as observing the world around me. I use apps like Disney, Hulu, and Hbo Max. Another way I consume media content is by listing to music through Spotify. These formats are relevant to me as they keep me interested in the world around me. I prefer these types of formats because almost everyone uses them and recommends the formats to me. They also provide me a deeper analysis on so many topics that I question and keep me entertained. Most of these formats also have a variety of options for me to choose from. 

 Some of the ways I use media to acquire information is through podcast, documentaries, and by reading books. I can also acquire information by simply just scrolling through my TikTok for you page. I enjoy the vintage feeling, so I also love to use record players. The information I see online stays with me and helps me interpretate the world in different perspectives.

I prefer learning my information by reading it and through documentaries because it feels very real. The same thing goes with listening to podcast. It all just feels very real through the experiences that everyone has. I enjoy watching true crime as well.
